Medication, such as antidepressants, can be really helpful for people with depression.

However, there may be a number of reasons why you may want to come off of your medication, for example:

  • You may be feeling better
  • You may be experiencing side effects
  • Your medication may not be working as well as you might want

If you feel that any of these things apply to you, talk to your doctor about it. They will be able to give you advice on the best course of action for you, whether it be switching the type of medication, adjusting your dose or coming off it completely.
